　　The Kim O. Nguyen directed, D.J. Mausner scripted movie follows best friends Jess and Hannah (Gentry and Lester), who make a pact at 13 to have the perfect senior prom. Despite the impending changes that college will bring over the next four years, the two are committed to honoring their prom pact. But with only 24 hours left before the big event, everything falls apart when they break up with each of their dates. Jess and Hannah are left with one night to find new dates and live out their middle-school fantasies.

　　电视台体育节目主持人任小雨（李湘 饰）偶然路过快餐店，即兴采访食客王大山（李成儒 饰），本来对市队满腹牢骚的他对着话筒夸下海口，亲自组建“包子队”与市队叫板，不料此言被现场直播出去，引起全市球迷的极大兴趣。本来是王大山借着酒劲信口开河，但球迷们信以为真，电视台和任小雨也如座针毡，不得不假戏真做。电视台文体部主任钱宁（李俊峰 饰）与小雨临阵磨枪，想出一个应急办法，让快餐店的老板伙计悉数上阵，决心“不蒸包子争口气”，歇业投入训练。与此同时，另一支财大气粗的“国际联队”也被怂恿的头昏脑涨，赛前集体宣誓，坚決拿下“包子队”，大战一触即发......

1998年，秀贞的父母带着各自的两个孩子成婚，父亲的大儿子秀教（尹相铉 饰）是温文尔雅的伦理教师，二儿子秀根是梦想成为警察的学生；母亲的大儿子东秀（宋诗曦 饰）是虚张声势的纹身师，二女儿贤贞则是想成为艺人的不良学生。两个家庭组成了一个全新的大家庭，但因为秀贞父母的儿女们性格不合，所以早早的各自生活，甚少团聚。十几年后，已经是中学生的秀贞与母亲商议，用父母生病为借口骗哥哥姐姐们回家庆祝父母的结婚纪念日。在儿女们赶回家的同时，父母意外失踪，于是五兄弟按照双亲留下的线索努力搜索，却意外的揭开了德水里当地的恶性案件之谜……

　　An absurdist classic
　　This is a wonderful surreal comedy based on the play by Spike Milligan and John Antrobus. You know that it is going to be an odd film right at the beginning, when the opening credits list the cast in order of their height. The film begins with the BBC (Frank Thornton) telling us through the facade of an old television that this is the third, or is it the fourth?, anniversary of the shortest war in history, lasting 2 hours and 28 minutes. England is now a barren landscape, littered with derelict cars and buildings, hills of old boots, broken crockery, and other debris. Forty million people perished and there are only 20 known survivors. The Queen did not survive, and of the 20 known survivors the next in line for the throne is a Mrs Ethel Schroake of 393a High Street, Leytonstone. Among the other survivors are Ralph Richardson (O Lucky Man!) as Lord Fortnum of Alamein, who isn't looking forward to his impending mutation into a bed sitting room. Michael Hordern is Bules Martin, who wears a 18-carat Hovis bread ring. Spike Milligan is a postman who wanders around and delivers some memorable dialogue, for example: "And in come the three bears - the daddy bear said, 'Who's been sleeping in my porridge?' - and the mummy bear said, 'that's no porridge, that was my wife' ". Arthur Lowe is slowly turning into a parrot (which is then eaten by Spike Milligan), while his wife, the owner of her own death certificate, turns into a wardrobe. His daughter is pregnant with a strange creature, which she has held inside her for seventeen months. Peter Cook and Dudley Moore are a pair of policemen who perpetually tell the others to "keep moving!". Moore growls a lot and turns into a dog at the end. Marty Feldman is a wellington-boot-wearing nurse. It's a hilarious, absurdist treat, and one of my treasured filmic pleasures.

　　本片是一部十分有趣的惊悚喜剧，在牢牢把握观众的同时，影片中新奇神秘的事件也吊足了观众的胃口。故事的背景是一个保守并迷信的小村庄，信奉婆罗门教的马诺吉守护着祖庙，虽然大家都说祖庙一直闹鬼。某天，马诺吉定居美国的侄子阿胡加及侄媳薇蒂雅回到小村庄，并要在祖庙住上一阵子。薇蒂雅无意间打开了一扇锁着的房间，于是，奇怪的事情开始发生。祖庙真的闹鬼了。马诺吉请了一些江湖术士驱鬼降魔，可并不见什么效果。大家开始抱怨。幸运的是，在薇蒂雅的一个精神病学专家的帮助下，他们找到了真凶并揭开了谜题。本片作为一部将喜剧及惊悚元素融合得很好的作品，导演从不同的角度审视了藏于人类内心的超出我们想象的精神层面，是一部不可多得的惊悚喜剧影片。

1987年，一群大学辅导员在夏令营的一晚中无意复活了一个几十年前的恶魔。

　　米娜克茜（拉妮•玛克赫吉 Rani Mukherjee 饰）是一个性格非常天真单纯的女孩，整天都生活在对于爱情的美好幻想之中，渴望着遇到自己命中注定的白马王子。然而，身为一个额女孩，米娜克茜的命运是坎坷的，他的父母早就替她做主，不断地为米娜克茜物色着相亲对象。
　　在艺术学院里，米娜克茜结识了特立独行的女同事麦娜（安妮塔•戴特 Anita Date 饰），从来无惧社会准则，永远不按常理出牌的麦娜很快就成为了米娜克茜追随的精神偶像。一次偶然中，米娜克茜在学校里遇见了一位名叫苏里叶（普利特维拉吉•苏库玛兰 Prithviraj Sukumaran 饰）的学生，他独特的体香让米娜克茜深深的坠入了情网之中。

　　克莱尔移民好莱坞之前的社会讽刺剧，揭露资产阶级社会对工人机械式的控制和盘剥，带有轻喜剧风格，是一部早期经典。影片讲两个流浪汉在工业化和自动化浪潮中的不同遭遇，一个成了富翁，另一个只迷恋大自然。主角从监狱逃跑后，建了一座唱片厂（对百代公司的影射），流水线生产使得整个气氛跟监狱相差无几。
　　本片是卓别林《摩登时代》的灵感源泉，其犀利的思想性不亚于卓别林的那部。（本片的电影公司曾状告卓别林侵权，后来克莱尔放弃了诉讼，并表示“如果我能启发卓别林的灵感，那是我的荣幸”，而且承认自己作品中的流浪汉源自卓别林。）影片在没有剧本的情况下拍摄，由演员现场发挥。片中音乐的使用具有突破性，被誉为影史上最佳电影配乐之一。
