　　Gippi is a 14-year-old girl who lives in Simla with her mother Pappi and little brother Booboo. She is overweight and awkward and doesn't know how to handle the physical, emotional and social changes happening in her life. In school, she is a backbencher and is constantly bullied by the popular queen-bee Shamira. At home, she's trying to figure out how to deal with living in a broken home. In the middle of all this chaos, she falls madly in love with an older, brooding heartbreaker. When her love story comes to a humiliating end, and she is publicly scorned, she decides to take her life in her hands and accepts Shamira's challenge to stand against her in the school elections. 　　过了客栈老板娘这一关，武小松继续前进，他不仅拥有着一身了得的功夫，还懂得动物的语言，能够同动物们对话。周老虎皮糙肉厚，号称刀枪不入，却败在了武小松的手上。之后长着翅膀能够飞翔的飞老虎亦来拦路，被武小松收拾得七荤八素。很快，武小松就来到了虎拜年大峡谷，在这里居住着威风凛凛武功高强的虎王。面对强大的敌人，武小松是否能够毫无畏惧，展现出自己真正的实力呢？

　　《花鼓戏》来自 C.Y. Lee (黎锦扬) 的同名小说，由 Oscar Hammerstein II 和 Joseph Fields 改写成音乐剧，作曲 Richard Rodgers，作词 Oscar Hammerstein II。该剧于1958年12月1日在纽约的圣詹姆士剧场(St. James Theatre)开演,在纽约百老汇连演六百场不衰，后来又在1960 年3月24日于伦敦的宫殿剧场(Palace Theatre)。在1961年，又由环球银幕公司拍成电影，其中，扮演琳达的就是著名华裔演员关南施 (Nancy Kwan)。
　　2002 年，在前《亚裔杂志》(A Magzine)发行人杨致和成立的Factor 公司的精心策划下，《花鼓戏》在九月下旬重登纽约百老汇剧场的维珍尼亚剧院(Virginia Theatre)。这一次的剧本由东尼奖得奖剧作家黄哲伦创新改写，也首次采用全部亚裔的演员阵容，包括扮演《西贡小姐》扬名的菲律宾演员 Lea Salonga 担任女主角，和曾在音乐剧《国王与我》(The King and I) 中担任主演的菲律宾籍演员 Jose Liana 扮演王大。该剧于2003年3月16日停止，但是已经有传说要在北美开展巡回演出。新剧的剧情和旧版略有不同，但是歌曲仍采用旧版。在下面的介绍是旧版的剧情。
　　虽然并不能算是 Rodgers 和 Hammerstein 合作的最成功的例子，《花鼓戏》的成就其实是不可忽视的。《花鼓戏》可是说是音乐喜剧的先驱，在当时题材严肃的音乐剧中独树一帜。而且，它也是屈指可数以中国人的生活为题材的音乐剧。
　　《花鼓戏》的故事取材于旧金山(San Francisco)唐人街上的中国人。故事围绕着唐人街里几代人的矛盾和代沟展开。在老一代人固执地坚持中国习俗的同时，在唐人街上长大的年轻人却更认同美国人的思考方式和生活方式。不过，按照喜剧的传统，大团圆的结尾必不可少，主人公也与心上人终成眷属。
　　既然是屈指可数的以中国人为题材的音乐剧，在这里就不能不多聊一下这部小说以及它的作者黎锦扬。
　　黎锦扬生于湖南，是著名语言学家黎锦熙三兄弟之一。他移民美国，在四十年代写出了《花鼓戏》(Flower Drum Song，也译做“花鼓歌”或“花鼓曲”)。他是继林语堂之后第二个用英文写书的华裔作家。他的最有名的作品无疑就是这部《花鼓戏》，他也在《纽约客》(New Yorker) 杂志上发表短篇小说，多数描写 二战末期滇缅一带的风情，后来合成一集，叫《天之一角》。但是他也曾杜撰过一部名为《天雠》的反共小说，据说“其中一章描写王光美被斗的惨状，历历在目，著不觉浑身汗毛倒竖”，但是，其中的捕风捉影，刻意渲染的成分过多，只能算是政治工具，不能叫做文学。《花鼓戏》如何，本人不曾有幸读过原著，拍成音乐剧后的故事想来是给改得面目全非，也不能作凭据，所以还得请读过小说的看官聊一聊看法了。
　　本片曾获第34届学院奖艺术指导（彩色）、摄影（彩色）、服装设计（彩色）、编曲（音乐剧类）、录音5项提名。

　　This French family film is filled with action, animals, adventure, and suspense. The story is told from a child's viewpoint. One day, while playing in his secret tree house in the forest, 11-year old Antoine spies upon bank robbers stashing 40-million francs worth of loot. One of the robbers is the father of his newest best friend Lisa, a 10-year old Canadian visitor. Not wanting to rat on her father, Antoine instead moves the money to a different spot. Neither he, nor Lisa have a lot of respect for their frequently absent fathers. They find adults to be inherently hypocritical. Both kids do share a love of animals though. Together, they decide to run away to Biarritz, a resort town, and start spending a little money. The thieves are livid when they discover their stash is missing, particularly Max, and they try, unsuccessfully to catch the kids. Antoine is assisted by his muscular governess Clemence as he and Lisa suffer through numerous narrow escapes while spending their ill-gotten gain. - Sandra Brennan, All Movie Guide

　　肯尼斯（亚当·迪康 Adam Deacon 饰）有着非常强烈的坏蛋主义情结，一直希望自己能够成为遗臭万年的恶棍，可实际上，他只不过是一个不管走到哪里都讨人厌的小混混罢了。他无限膨胀的自我和嚣张的作风令他丢掉了工作，但这对于肯尼斯来说并不算是一件坏事，他离实现他的梦想又近了一步。
　　失去了工作后，整日无所事事的肯尼斯只得去酒吧打发时间，并且“顺利”的给自己惹了一堆的麻烦和债务，最终，他不得不靠着在街头贩卖大麻还债度日。就在这个节骨眼上，恶棍头目蒂隆在肯尼斯的身上发现了“潜力”，将他招致麾下。

　　塔希米是小巴驾驶员，每天要去马尼拉城内拉客赚钱，他对美国的任何事物都很感兴趣，无论是电影、音乐、还是他的梦中情人 - 美国小姐，他每天必听的电台是“美国之声”，尤其对老美的太空计划着迷，特崇拜从东德叛逃的火箭科学家Werner Von Braun，还在村里组了一个WVB迷协会，招收当地一些小孩做会员，并通过卖冰棒为菲律宾小姐的选美活动筹款。
　　塔希米认为村子在逐渐退化，跟不上时代的步伐，村民们落后的生活方式让他感到悲哀，甚至内心看不起从小一起长大的朋友，因为他现在是竹屋工匠，尽管建造竹屋是菲律宾人的传统技艺，但现在已经没有多少人愿意学了，而塔希米想要的是更宽敞明亮的楼房，想要过一种更现代化的“国际生活”。某天在路上他结识了一个美国商人，商人正需一私人司机，于是塔希米和他一起来到了巴黎。在巴黎的生活起初让他感到新鲜不已，但随着他唯一的朋友，一个巴黎街头的小商贩因受到附近超级市场的行业欺压和迫害而无法经营最终自杀，塔希米开始对这个金钱至上的资本主义社会产生了疑问，为什么这个世界首先需要的是超市？为什么无数旧楼房被推倒后还要在上面建起更豪华的别墅？他试图用自己的方式对抗，但很快意识到无用，并及时从梦中觉醒，重返了家乡。

　　An absurdist classic
　　This is a wonderful surreal comedy based on the play by Spike Milligan and John Antrobus. You know that it is going to be an odd film right at the beginning, when the opening credits list the cast in order of their height. The film begins with the BBC (Frank Thornton) telling us through the facade of an old television that this is the third, or is it the fourth?, anniversary of the shortest war in history, lasting 2 hours and 28 minutes. England is now a barren landscape, littered with derelict cars and buildings, hills of old boots, broken crockery, and other debris. Forty million people perished and there are only 20 known survivors. The Queen did not survive, and of the 20 known survivors the next in line for the throne is a Mrs Ethel Schroake of 393a High Street, Leytonstone. Among the other survivors are Ralph Richardson (O Lucky Man!) as Lord Fortnum of Alamein, who isn't looking forward to his impending mutation into a bed sitting room. Michael Hordern is Bules Martin, who wears a 18-carat Hovis bread ring. Spike Milligan is a postman who wanders around and delivers some memorable dialogue, for example: "And in come the three bears - the daddy bear said, 'Who's been sleeping in my porridge?' - and the mummy bear said, 'that's no porridge, that was my wife' ". Arthur Lowe is slowly turning into a parrot (which is then eaten by Spike Milligan), while his wife, the owner of her own death certificate, turns into a wardrobe. His daughter is pregnant with a strange creature, which she has held inside her for seventeen months. Peter Cook and Dudley Moore are a pair of policemen who perpetually tell the others to "keep moving!". Moore growls a lot and turns into a dog at the end. Marty Feldman is a wellington-boot-wearing nurse. It's a hilarious, absurdist treat, and one of my treasured filmic pleasures.

　　剧情描述了73岁的老人濑山克子某天离家出走在奇怪的照相馆拍摄了照片后，相貌突然回到了自己20岁时模样的故事。

　　正在监狱中服刑的爆炸专家洛高接受了恐怖集团一项五百万美元酬劳的任务：用薄如纸片的新式炸弹在美国制造恐慌。另一边，白头神探弗兰克（莱斯利•尼尔森 Leslie Nielsen 饰）光荣退休，那些惊心动魄的战斗似乎瞬间就成为了往事，警方获悉恐怖爆炸计划后邀请弗兰克再次出山，令其进入医院卧底，以接近洛高的情人谭雅。妻子珍（普瑞希拉•普雷斯利 Priscilla Presley 饰）对于孩子的渴望愈发强烈，但再次为公众安全疲于奔命的弗兰克毫无亲昵的多余体力，伤心的珍离家出走。弗兰克二次卧底进入监狱，打入洛高一伙并与他成功越狱，自此留在洛高身边监视，此时珍找到弗兰克，卷入了卧底行动。洛高计划在奥斯卡颁奖典礼上安放炸弹，而能挽救奥斯卡的，只有弗兰克……

当假期充满了意想不到的冒险与挑战时，佛莱戈们学会要珍惜每一天，因为它们都像雪花一样独特又特别。
