　　该剧背景设置在北爱尔兰，讲述来自谢菲尔德的19岁主角Jamie成为一艘邮轮的船员，这名得超额工作﹑薪水低迷的主角会上船的原因是她妹妹曾经是船上的工作成员但失踪了，故此他只好亲身来到船上调查。

　　故事紧接上一季结尾：夏威夷州长遭谋杀后，Steve McGarrett成了头号嫌疑人，被临时羁押在监狱里等候出庭受审。Danny突然带着能够洗清他罪名的证据前来探监。与此同时，Kono遭到停职检查的处分，内务调查部派人对她展开全面调查。Terry O'Quinn在本集中扮演McGarrett在海豹突击队受训时的指挥官Joe White；Richard T. Jones扮演新任夏威夷州长Sam Denning；William Sadler再次扮演McGarrett的父亲John McGarrett。

　　“Bad Monkey” tells the story of Andrew Yancy (Vince Vaughn), who has been bounced from the Miami Police Department and is now a health inspector in the Keys. But after stumbling upon a case that begins with a human arm fished up by tourists, he realizes that if he can prove murder, he’ll be back in. He just needs to get past a trove of Floridian oddballs and one bad monkey.

　　ABC官宣正式续订《神盾局特工》第六季！不过往季都有22集而本季却只有13集，且在夏季播出，即在《复仇者联盟4》上映后。

　　由澳大利亚年轻同志演员乔什·托马斯自编自演的热播喜剧《请喜欢我》获得第二季续订。此次更由美国独立电视台Pivot参与投资，将全季扩容至10集，在2014年8月暑期档正式播出。乔什将面对新的宠物和新的室友，并且迎接家庭新成员的到来。与此同时，旧爱的牵绊依然还在......

　　ABC Family确定Dominic Sherwood将担任剧情剧《影子猎人 Shadowhunters》的男主。
　　早些时候，ABC Family跳过试映集环节直接预订了了这部剧集。该剧由《圣杯神器》系列的作者Cassandra Clare的系列书籍改编。作为备受青少年欢迎的超自然题材小说，这部剧的主角是Clary Fray，1个在自己18岁生日发现自己是一个猎杀恶魔的天使与人类的混血儿的女孩，在母亲绑架后。与一个神秘的猎手还有她的好朋友Simon展开了一段关于命运的探险。
