　　This series chronicled the lives of Bodie and Doyle, top agents for Britain's CI5 (Criminal Intelligence 5), and their controller, George Cowley. The mandate of CI5 was to fight terrorism and similar high-profile crimes. Cowley, a hard ex-MI5 operative, hand-picked each of his men. Bodie was a cynical ex-SAS paratrooper and mercenary whose nature ran to controlled violence, while his partner, Doyle, came to CI5 from the regular police force, and was more of an open minded liberal. Their relationship was often contentious, but they were the top men in their field, and the ones to whom Cowley always assigned to the toughest cases.

He knows everything about his neighbors: their names, schedules, jobs, relationships, weaknesses, likes, etc. His mind registers everything that goes on in the complex. With this advantage over his "victims", he devises strategies to influence each tenant and can calculate precisely how they will react. 　　英国ITV开始根据英国女作家Val McDermid的破案小说Dr.Tony Hill中的故事"Mermaids Singing"和"Shadows Rising"改编的英国悬疑破案剧集。之后又由其他人续写，后来在第四季度第二集"Torment"又改编自Val McDermid的Dr.Tony Hill中的故事"The Torment of Others"。
　　Dr. Tony Hill 这个角色是个大学里面的法庭心理学家，他一起与一位非常干练的女刑事探员Carol Jordan 合作破了一个又一个非常棘手的悬疑案件！

　　该剧基于休·豪伊所著同名畅销科幻系列小说改编，设定在被破坏、有毒的未来，数百层楼深的一个巨大地下筒仓中存在一个 社区，男人和女人生活在一个充满规章制度的社会里，凡是和“出去”有关的一切都成为致命禁忌。
　　丽贝卡·弗格森饰演独立而勤奋的工程师朱丽叶，她也担任执行制作人。蒂姆·罗宾斯饰演IT主管伯纳德，加入了朱丽叶的队伍。
