曾经疏远的父女乔治和玛雅，在重归于好的过程中，经历了种种波折，也收获了重拾亲情的喜悦，努力弥补失去的时光，而这正是他们独有的方式。乔治重回玛雅的生活后，总能给她提供一些关于儿子钱斯的“另类”育儿建议，当然，他也会时不时地调侃一下玛雅的男友昆汀。乔治的前妻罗西虽然还没完全原谅他，但两人关系还算不错……至少表面上如此。最终，洛佩兹一家在经历了一些小波折、收获了许多爱和欢笑之后，依然幸福美满地生活着。

　　40个实习医生为了一个家知名医院（其实就是House那个医院）的3个转正名额进行无数轮的PK选秀，会是什么样的场景？如果你是House医生，肯定也会让这帮愣头青上演一出血战到底的真人秀吧？而且在被House老是修理一番后，他们会压根就不知道 “自尊”这个词是啥意思～
　　艾美奖得主《豪斯医生》第四季将在9月25日再度与美剧迷们见面，在本季中，由于有一票新人要竞争与House共事的机会，所以弄出了一个类似选秀的程序来考核竞聘者们，甚至给他们编了号～（传说中的超级医生？）。“本季中您将会看到典型的House风格的种种挖苦和刁难，除非具备《Survivor》中的角色那样超人的心理和身体素质以及职业技能，恐怕很难有人能入House的法眼。”本季的执行制作人David Shore如是说。
　　本季花了超过8集以上的时间来让有点神神叨叨的House来选秀（不知道有没有点评环节），也就是说，他将会塑造一个又臭又硬的形象～。演员Peter Jacobson 说(出演过The Starter Wife)，Peter Jacobson在本剧中扮演一个在Park Avenue上班的整形外科医生，试图寻找新的生命的意义。“不过，在寻找生命意义的道路上，他也顺道寻找一下辣妹。Hoho～” Jacobson补充道。

　　制作人Shore还透露，其他的竞聘者还有Kal Penn（出演过24）扮演的一个觉得“选秀“特酷的傻妞。还有，Edi Gathegi(出演过Lincoln Heights)，将在本剧中扮演一个黑人摩门教徒。
　　搞笑的是，在现实中的演员们为了出演本剧，成为House团队（此处双关）的一员，也是竞争激烈。Shore 说：“我们挑选了许多演员来试镜，但是我们不能决定谁是最佳人选，最后我们决定采用选秀的方式，我们觉得House肯定会同意的。”
