The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 　　战后的日本格局混乱，黑道横行。盘踞关西大阪的淡野组通过各种非法勾当不断壮大，并开始蚕食周边。经过几次战争，淡野组一统关西，随之开始了进军关东的计划。为对抗入侵者，东京周边的黑社会团伙组成了关东联合会阻击淡野组。在此期间，淡野组•滨中组和关东联合会•樱田组发生接连发生一系列小规模的代理战争。
　　服刑八年的冢本铁男（鹤田浩二 饰）视滨中组组长如亲生父亲，组长遇刺，他决心刺杀樱田组长报仇。经过决议，其兄弟椿五郎（内出良平 饰）请求北龙会的宫原一义（若山富三郎 饰）出手相助，淡野组长（内田朝雄 饰）则寻求政客为靠山。双方战争不断扩大化，而无辜的牺牲者也继续增加……

　　This film marks the directorial debut of Robert Benayoun. An artist (Richard Leduc) attending a party smokes some dope and develops the ability to see into the future and the past. He returns to his apartment where he sees the vision of a woman who had lived there 30 years ago. A friend tries to convince him it is his heightened sensitively as an artist that allows for the newfound abilities, but he soon has psychedelic hallucinations and his abilities increase with time. Stop-motion photography is effectively used in his sequence of visual experiences where the people exist but not the city in this metaphysical story.

　　本片讲述了童话故事“大结局”之后的故事，尽管恋爱时幸福美满，但历经了十六年的婚姻生活后，Mary Wilson和Fred Wilson夫妻俩越来越貌合神离，被婚姻压迫地喘不过气的Mary总是沉浸在电影和酒精里逃避现实，因此和丈夫冲突连连，痛苦抑郁了许久之后，在结婚纪念日这一天，Mary忽然决定要任性一次，独自前往度假胜地拿索反思自己的爱情与婚姻。

　　Heintje是西德电影《英俊少年》的主角，相信这部电影很多人熟悉，但谈到他的其它影片可能大家就陌生了。Ein Herz geht auf Reisen德语直译叫一颗上路的心，拍摄于1969年，但40年了，这部电影还未有过中文配音，相信是没有传到中国的。
　　片中Heintje（影片用的是他真名，英俊少年也是只是姓不同）是个孤儿，从开头他买完东西回到一所公寓的情景是为影片说明来由，那公寓不是他自己家，是他姨妈家而姨妈有了未婚夫后一心想跟他分开住。Heintje天天去马场看他喜欢的白马，与场主Alfred（英俊少年里演他父亲的演员）建立深厚感情，而Alfred有了女友后也疏忽了他还要去瑞士，所以Heintje被送到孤儿院。但他又从孤儿院逃出一路搭便车追随Alfred到了瑞士，Alfred被他深深感动还与女友分手了。Heintje搭的便车最后那个是一起走私团伙，在瑞士发现他后还绑架他，在警察等人帮助下，Heintje脱离危险，而Alfred也找到真爱，就是在德国认识的事务所的Hanna（英俊少年里演女律师的演员），他们决定结婚并收养Heintje。
　　Heintje在片中一路唱着好听的歌那歌声让人陶醉其中，Ich sing ein lied fur dich直译是我为你唱首歌，在片中出现多次，可以说是这部的主题曲了，他的金嗓子让人佩服，现实中的他就是以金嗓子赢得众人的欣赏，他的少年时代的歌有荷兰语、德语、英语三种语言，也是语言天才。
　　开头出现的Liebe Sonne（亲爱的太阳），是说明一个孤儿心中永远都是阳光
　　，无论如何最终都是会得到幸福的。要相信爱就在身边，心中有阳光，无论遇到什么困难，都是不能被击垮的。

　　This apocalyptic parable carries within it a clear echo of the 1968 invasion of Czechoslovakia. This unforgiving exploration of the Czech mentality tells the tale of a troupe of wandering actors who perform a passion play in some unnamed village. Fear of some unknown danger breaks out in the village, which is cut off from the surrounding world. Stupidity, selfishness and aggressiveness then come to the surface in this society under threat. In the film's key scene, a woman is raped by the self-styled leader. Zdenuk Mahler, who would later work on Forman's examination Mozart Amadeus, worked on the script.
　　The director Evald Schorm (1929-1988) was one of the most original members of the Czech "New Wave". During the "normalization" era, Schorm spent many years unable to direct. His last film, Killing with Kindness (1988) was only made in the twilight years of Communism. During that period when he was unable to direct films, he became an outstanding stage director. He directed groundbreaking productions at the "Na zábradlí" Theater and Laterna Magika.

　　ynopsis from Time Out Film Guide: Between the seemingly idyllic opening and closing scenes depicting a rural community, first at church, then at the village festival, Fleischmann attacks that community's prejudices and ignorance without remorse. His very precisely observed portrait of Bavarian life begins with little more than a display of the villagers' constant ribbing, bawdy humour, continuous gossip, and more than a hint of their slow-wittedness. With the return of a young man, their idle malice and childish clowning, always on the edge of unpleasantness, receive some focus: quite without foundation, the lad is victimised as a homosexual. The crippling conformity of their ingrained conservatism leads the villagers to reject anything 'different': a young widow is ostracised, more for her crippled lover and idiot son than her morals; a teacher is frozen out because she's educated; the casual destruction of the young 'homosexual' is given no more thought than the cutting up of a pig. Not Germany in the '30s but the '70s; nevertheless the political parallels are clear. An impressive film.

　　A rich but lonely woman, Frances Austen, one day invites a boy from a nearby park to her apartment and offers to let him live there.
　　Robert Altman's sadly neglected film that, along with his later "Images", fits into the unconventional psycho-thriller mold. A bizarre story with Sandy Dennis as a spinster who takes in a handsome young man (Michael Burns) who is pretending to be mute. She imprisons the boy and supplies his every need, including a prostitute (Luana Anders), whom she goes out and brings home for Burns' pleasure.

　　This film took the top honor at the 1969 Berlin Film Festival. After a series of documentaries, this marks the directorial debut for Zelimir Zilnik. It takes a decidedly anti-Stalinist view in the wake of the 1968 Russian invasion of Czechoslovakia and raises important political questions. He states that although the world has experienced untold wars, there have only been a handful of revolutions with any lasting significance that lead to political change.

　　The issue of War widow representation in Israeli cinema is one of the most complex for the local industry for it seems to be unique and with a very local and specific iconography.
　　The war Widow is a difficult character to digest. Because this is an especially painful topic in Israel, its mode of representation is almost always problematic.
　　Gila Almagor in Tofano's "siege" is one of the first characters of the "modern" war widows to appear on Israeli cinema screens.
　　The human and social complexity of the status of widows was not represented adequately and personally until her complex and fine appearance in this film.
　　It was mostly Preceded by cliches of heroic women who have sacrificed for the nation with characters to which it was very difficult to get attached, nor to their personal grief.
　　"Siege" was directed by an unknown Italian director of that period. Although Gilberto Tofano was brought as a professional director on the wings of inspiration made by the French New Wave of those years, he managed to turn out a very exciting work which has caught the Israeli warmth and sense of social siege which surrounds the Israeli widows, including the great expectations from them and the social stigmas.
　　Tofano wrapped his leading lady with lots of warmth and gave a place of honor to Almagor's impressive presence in the film.
　　This is without a doubt one of Almagor's best and most accurate performances. The restraint in her performance plus the shooting and expressive use of angles by Tofano and his soft European touch which was far off from the aggressive local product managed to produce a sense of documenting an authentic tragedy with a tangible personal touch that minimized the national dimension. The result stands the test of time proudly several decades after its creation.

　　A government official in Czechoslovakia mistakenly believes he has cancer. He reasons his involvement in clandestine activities during the Stalin administration have fated him to die from a dreaded disease. He searches for inner peace as he feels the guilt of his past transgressions. This film tied for the Grand Prize at the Mannheim Film Festival in 1969.
　　Slovak director Dusan Hanak was one of Czech cinema's brightest and best talents of the '60s and '70s, but because of censorship this was not manifest until the late '80s. Dusan made an impact on the film world with his auspicious debut 322 (1969). Though banned until 1988, when it was finally released, it earned international acclaim and the Grand Prix award at the Mannheim Film Festival. Hanak's sophomore effort, the documentary Obrazy Stareho Sveta/Image of an Old World (completed in 1972), was also not released until 1988 and neither was his 1980 film Ja Milujem, Ty Milujes/I Love You, You Love. Only Hanak's 1976 film Ruzove Sny/Rose-Tinted Dreams passed muster with censors and saw a timely release.

　　馬立克對安娜描述外地的風光，以幻燈片證明美國的美好生活和蘇聯共產主義的弊端，引起從小在窮鄉僻壤長大的安娜憧憬，兩人甚至幾乎發生戀情，但她最終還是把他送走。

　　经过长达七年的修业之旅，绯牡丹阿龙（藤純子 饰）和组员飞车角（広瀬義宣 饰）返回故乡熊本，决心复兴父亲一手创立的矢野组。路上，他们偶然救助了遭到追杀的青年富士松（待田京介 饰），因此与当地的黑帮荒木田组结怨。
　　随着明治时代的到来，日本全面进入工业社会。九州筑丰一带富足的煤矿得到广泛开发，为了提高运输速度，铁路的铺设被提上日程。然而这项计划触及了远贺川流域运煤船工的利益，他们和承包工程的帮派组织多次发生冲突。阿龙的叔父川边要次郎（嵐寛寿郎 饰）在冲突中受伤，不治身亡。他在临死前将组织托付给阿龙，并嘱托她一定要完成铁路的建设。继承叔父的遗志，阿龙全力推进工程的进行，因此和代表船工利益的堪藏（石山健二郎 饰）产生矛盾。另一方面，心怀不轨的荒木田组伊之助（天津敏 饰）时刻寻找机会，准备一举摧毁铁路工程以及阿龙、堪藏的组织……

　　東大生の村瀬正吉は、小学生の家庭教師として名門依田家に招かれた。一家中がエリートの依田家では、春夫がガリ勉を強いられ意気消沈していた。正吉は、教育ママに反対し、春夫と一緒にマラソンをしたり、相撲をとったりの珍指導ぶりで一家を唖然とさせてしまった。春夫の姉久美子は明るく勇気づける野放図な正吉にいつしか心をひかれていった。そして、両親が決めた合田との縁談に悩むのだった。一方、依田の秘書をつとめ、頭はきれるが傲慢な態度むきだしの合田は、久美子の感情を素早く、キャッチし次第にあせりの色を見せはじめた。そして、クリスマスの夜、合田が久美子に箱根への一泊旅行を誘いかけ、二人の溝はますます深まった。そんな久美子をみて、母の宗子は、正吉に家庭教師に専念し、娘とは一線を画すよう要求した。その代り一流新聞社への就職を世話するとのことだった。正月が来た。正吉は、兄正一が郷土発展のために尽している長岡へ帰った。正一は、建築業のかたわら、若人の心の支えにたってほしいと“青春の鐘”を造っていた。兄のはげしい情熱にうたれた正吉は東京での就職を断念し、長岡に骨を埋める覚悟を決めた。折りしも、春夫と共にスキーに招かれていた久美子は、正吉の意見に大賛成。お目付役として同行した合田は、二人の様子をにがにがしく眺るのだった。やがて、久美子は楽しい思い出を残して帰っていった。だが、長岡での久美子の行動を合田から聞いた宗子は、強引に結納を交わしてしまった。そして、正吉は家庭教師をクビになってしまった。久美子は母の卑劣な態度に怒り、両親を説得し、婚約の解消をさせた。それから間もなく、長岡で“青春の鐘”の除幕式が行なわれた。そこには、正吉と久美子の姿があった。そして、二人の将来を祝福するかのように、鐘の音が鳴り渡っていた。

　　她典当最后的家当，一个金十字架，他震惊于她的美丽，多给点钱，她不肯要。美女与押店店主，一个珍视灵魂，一个贪求物质。错配的婚姻，开场已知结局：她用死亡换取自由。往后是押店店主第一人称故事，苦寻妻子自杀原因但徒劳，观众如堕迷雾，他自圆其说，画面故事益发绷紧。她的神秘，是布烈松的留白，观众的解读空间。导演爱把演员变“模特儿”，本次找来真模特儿杜明妮桑德，不因为她美，而是看中她的声线，但桑德的静，有澎湃感染力。布烈松第一部彩色，令温柔添残酷实感。
